Learn how to get the most from your new Employee directory

Configure the Settings sheet

Select the ‘Settings’ sheet and enter the following information:

  • Organization: Enter your organization name.
  • Departments: List all departments within your organization.
  • Job titles: List all job titles within your organization.


Using the Directory sheet

The Directory sheet is where all the action happens. Start by entering employee names, phone numbers, email addresses, job titles and departments.

🟢 Tip: You may add more column tables if needed.



Slicer UI

Introducing Slicer UI: An all-new design for easy filtering.

  • Filter by department: Slicer UI automatically displays the departments you previously enered on the Settings sheet. All you need to do is click on a department name to start filtering.

  • Filter by letter: Slicer UI also lets you filter by the first letter of each employee's name. If you were to click 'A', the directory would only display all staff who start with the letter 'A'.

  • Multi Filter: You can use both filters together as well! For example, clicking 'Sales' and 'G' would only show you all employees who's names start with the letter 'G' and who work in Sales.

🟢 Tip: Reset the filters by clicking the 'clear filter' icon.



    Frequently Asked Questions


  • Yes, simply right-click in the column you would like to sort and select “Sort -> Sort A to Z”.

  • You may highlight any cell that you would like to clear and hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
    You may also highlight the entire row, right-click and select “Delete -> Table Rows”

  • Right click the last row and select “Insert -> Table Row Below”.
